This evening after dinner Gabi came over to me and said Mommy look!! So I looked at her and this is what I saw!!!!

I then asked her what she was doing and she said she learned how to wink!!!!! I then asked her who showed her how to wink and she said nobody!!!!

She comes up with the craziest things!!! And keeps everything interesting around here!!!!!

Ysabella blessed with another year!!!!

Well Ysabella turned 9 years old!!

I never understood when I first had her, people would tell me enjoy every minute because they grow soo fast!! I look back now and sometimes wish she were an infant and not soo vocal and opinionated!!! It seems just like yesterday that I was sitting in the hospital room trying to nurse

her and figure out motherhood. Now she is FAST approaching the teen years and wanting a cell phone. My how times have changed!!!!

So today we took her and two of her friends bowling. It was alot of fun and the girls had a blast!!! We bowled for two hours and ate pizza and had brownie cupcakes!!! She got some money and

shirts and socks and shoes and a new sweater. And the new Selena Gomez cd!!!! Now I have to adjust to her new found prissiness and look past her attitude that comes with the pre-teen

years!!!!

Well........ What can I say!!!

I think we have launched our family into the preteen years!!!!!

Yesterday was very interesting, to say the least!!!!

I am sitting at the computer and I hear a loud thump, the I hear Ysabella telling her sisters that is not a good idea(I think!)!!! I call Ysabella over and this is our conversation

Me: Why she is slamming doors?

Ysabella: I didn't slam the doors!

Me: What was that noise?

Ysabella: The bed broke............

Me: What????!!!!!!???? Sit right there!!!!!

Ysabella: I didn't know!!

Me: WHy did the bed break?

Ysabella: Because I was jumping on it.......

Me: WHAT??? I haven't I told you not to jump on the BED??!!???

Ysabella: I forgot!!!!! I am sorry!!!!

I get up and walk in the room and the wooden bed frame is broken and not easily fixed!!! I mean there is a piece of wood that splintered off and laying a few inched from the bed!!!

Then she turns to me and says:

Ysabella: I want to sleep on the floor!!(crying alot by now!!)

Me: That is not the point!!! YOU BROKE THE BED!!!!!

Ysabella: I don't care!!!

Me: of course you don't care, it's not your bed. It was mine when my grandmother gave it to me!!

Pete: It was old anyways.

Me: Soooooo!!!!! It was my grandmothers who is no longer here!!!!!! And Gran and Bill are coming. Where are they going to sleep now!?!?!?!?!

Ysabella: I don't know Vivianna's room! ( Vivianna has a twin bed!!)

Me: You are grounded from TV and computer for 2 days!!!!

From there you can imagine the conversation after that!!! And if you know Ysabella she is VERY dramatic and emotional!!!!!

Now I understand why my mother had only one child!!!!

I love my children, I reallllllyyyyyyy do!!!! But these next 15 years are going to be veryyyyyy CRAZY!!! I have 3 girls and I will have plenty of more stories to share!!!

Gabi's Exciting Birthday!!

Today is Gabi's Birthday! She turned 5 today!!

The most exciting thing happened during dinner............... she lost her first tooth!! Yes!! She came over to me and showed me that it was loose, very loose!! And then a few minutes later is was out! And when it came out it fell to the floor!! Well our carpet is a nice light shade of cream!!! As you can imangine she was not just in one spot she was all over the house!!! So it took me looking for about 20 minutes before I found it!! But it is put up until tonight when it is time for bed and we place the tooth under her pillow and see what the tooth fairy brings her!!!!

My baby is growing up too fast!!!!!

Viva Las Vegas

We have really enjoyed our move out here to Vegas!!! The girls start school on Monday, even Gabi is starting Kindergarten!!!!

The girls enjoy finding new things to do and places to go!!!

This was the best move for us!!!!!

How things move along!

In my last post I announced that Pete has gotten a new job and that we would relocate to Las Vegas, NV.

Well the time has come and we are moving! Very Exciting!!!

Things have moved verrrryyyyyy quickly and are move is going great. The movers come on Thursday June 25th to pack us and then they return on Friday June 26th to pick it all up and take it to Las Vegas and store it for us. We fly out to Vegas on Sunday, June 28th in the afternoon. This move has gone very smoothly for us, Citi Group has really blessed us in paying for our moving cost and living arrangements for the first month while we look for a place to call home.

I also want to let everyone who would like to come out and see the girls to meet us at OutLaws Bar-B-Que in Grand Prairie, TX off of Beltline on Friday June 26th from 7 pm - 10 pm.

I will keep everyone posted as we move out and get settled!

The Cobos Family Reuinon!

Hello all,

It has been a while since my last post and there has been soooooo much to share.

On June 13th we had Pete's Family Reuinon - Cobos Family (his Grandmothers side). It was a blast and had so much fun with all the cousins and Tia's and Tio's!!! Here are few pictures of what we did!!!

New and Exciting!

I am finally posting again!!!

Our family has alot going on......Some know but in Feb. Pete got his notice that his position (along with 2 others) are going to be outsourced to an outside company and his last day is April 17th. But God has great timing, because a few months before he was notified he was approached about another job in the same company and it offers some job security and a chance to move up in the company! Very exciting! The big thing about this position is that we would have to relocate. Yes relocate....It's okay thought we are up to the challenge of moving our family and starting a new.

You are probably wondering where would we relocate to...... Well it would be to Nevada. Yes to the Las Vegas area. The city is a little scary for me to live in, but I am up for the challenge.

Since then Pete has had 2 inform interviews and 1 formal interview and it went very well. A few days after the formal interview Pete got a call for the manager that told him about the job and said that there is a vacancies and it needs to be filled and offered him the job. The draw back to this position is that it is a nigh position from 6:30 p.m.-6:30 a.m. I am okay with that as long as it is temporary, which the manager said it was(at least till the move to Las Vegas)!

My prayer is that this is God's will and that everything will work out and for our girls to have peace about the move!

New Year!!!!!!!!

Well this year has started off very hectic in the Garcia House.

The girls have started back to school and I have gone back to work(and soo has Pete).

This year we did not do the New Year's Resolutions ..... we never stuck to them so we gave them the boot.

Hope eveybody had a wonderful Christmas and that there 2009 is better than 2008!
